Special Session: National Petroleum Council Global Oil and Gas Study

Don Paul, chairman of National Petroleum Council (NPC) Supply Task Group, will present an overview of the scope, organization and timetable of the global oil and gas study.

In 2005, US Secretary of Energy Samuel W. Bodman requested the NPC undertake a major study on global oil and gas to address the key strategic dimensions of supply, demand, technology, and geopolitics and policy. NPC is a federally chartered, privately funded advisory committee established to advise and inform the US Secretary of Energy of the oil and natural gas industries’ viewpoints.
