Student chapter officers are invited to collaborate and discuss new ideas and best practices for their student chapters.

Student General Session

All students are invited to hear industry leaders giving presentations that will directly impact their future professional careers. Jamie Barnhardt, technical competency development manager of Chevron, is the keynote speaker. The finalists for the SPE Outstanding Student Chapter will be honored at this session.

Student Technical Session

Guest speaker, 2005 SPE President Giovanni Paccaloni, will discuss the "Future of the Energy Industry," both in technology and human resources management. Paccaloni will talk about the need for motivated and creative employees who are proud of their companies' pervasive business ethics culture.

Student Social and Recruiting Fair

1600–1730, Sunday, 11 November

Join your fellow students for refreshments and mingling. At the social, company recruiters will be present to offer information about their companies, accept resumes, and offer general counsel on your career.
