Online registration will remain open until the final day of the conference.

Wire Transfers

Please reference the 2008 SPE/ATCE Conference in your email. Wire transfers must be made prior to 1 September 2008. Please have your bank include your name and credit 2008 SPE/ATCE Registration.

Registrants may pay in US dollars by check (mail only) or credit card (online, mail, or fax). Checks are acceptable from US bank checking accounts only and should be written for the amount of purchase only. SPE accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Diners Club credit cards.

Refund Deadline

SPE must receive cancellation/refund requests in writing by 12 September 2008. Send requests by mail to ATCE Cancellations, 1888 North Market St., Frederick, MD 21701 USA, or email.

Badge Pickup

Domestic attendees' badges and any purchased tickets will be mailed prior to the conference if registration is processed on or before 25 August 2008. Attendees registering after 25 August 2008 and all international attendees can pick up their badges on-site. Please be prepared to show photo ID (passport or driver's license) to pick up your conference badge.

Short Course Details

  • Because of a cooperative agreement between the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), SEG members can register for SPE Short Courses at the member rate.
  • Short Course registration is guaranteed only if payment is received before the Advance Registration deadline of 25 August.
  • Pricing includes a buffet luncheon each day.
  • On-site registration will be allowed only if space is available.
  • No refunds provided after 25 August.
