All students are invited to learn more about their future professional careers. The ATCE 2009 General Chairperson Rich Kruger, president of ExxonMobil Production Company, will be the guest speaker.
The regional winners for the SPE Outstanding Student Chapter will be honored at this session.

Student Technical Session

Students will hear a “state of the industry” technical presentation on petroleum engineering from Thomas A. Blasingame, professor at Texas A&M University. Following this presentation, Blasingame will offer personal remarks ranging from perspectives to expectations.
Student Recruiting and Networking Fair
1630–2000, Grand Ballroom C, Hilton Riverside
Join your fellow students for insight into the current job market. Company recruiters will be present to offer information about their companies, accept resumes, and offer general counsel on your career. Stay through the event for cash prize drawings!

Also at the fair, E&P company representatives will participate in a panel, "Life After College: Preparing Yourself for the Road Ahead," to discuss the qualifications that companies are looking for today in new recruits and how to differentiate yourself from other candidates.
