High School Student STEM Agenda

Pre-lessons for the students will be available online for participating schools to completed prior to attending the workshop.

8:30 a.m.	Welcome and introduction to program Welcome addresses. Review goals and objectives for the workshop.
9:00 a.m.	Hands-on energy explorations Students will be led in hands-on energy activities.
10:30 a.m.	Exhibit tour and scavenger hunt Industry professionals will lead small groups of students in a scavenger hunt of state-of-the art technology exhibits that will connect what the students learn to career opportunities.
12:15 p.m.	Lunch with energy professionals Students will have lunch with energy professionals to ask questions and discuss the importance of energy and the exciting career opportunities in the energy sector.
1:00 p.m.	Closing program Students will complete surveys and receive take-home educational and career brochures as well as giveaway items. Teachers accompanying the students will receive a variety of free instructional materials to take back to the classroom.
