SPE 50th Anniversary Distinguished Lecturer Reception

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the SPE Distinguished Lecturer Program will host a reception at ATCE.

This invitation-only event is being held to honor past and current lecturers, Distinguished Lecturer committee members, and other distinguished guests for their contributions to the program.

About the Distinguished Lecturer Program

Each year a group of 30 or more individuals, nominated by peers and selected by committee, travel around the world to share their expertise.

Starting in 1961 with only three lecturers, the program has grown to include as many as 40 lecturers delivering presentations to 175+ sections worldwide.

The Distinguished Lecturer Program continues to be successful thanks to funding by the SPE Foundation, Offshore Europe, AIME, and the companies that allow their professionals to serve as lecturers. Learn more about the program’s history on the 50th anniversary website.
