Message Regarding the West Nile Virus
You may have heard in the news about the West Nile Virus affecting parts of Texas.
The virus is transmitted by mosquitoes, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommend the following:
- Use an EPA-registered insect repellent when outdoors especially between dusk and dawn when mosquitoes are most active.
- Wear protective clothing (long sleeves, socks, and long pants) when outdoors.
