Energy4me High School Student STEM Event
Energy4me, SPE’s energy education outreach program, is educating the next generation of aspiring engineers, scientists and managers about the oil and gas industry. Approximately 200 high school math and science students will see firsthand the exciting opportunities the oil and gas industry can offer.
Students will participate in hands-on energy exploration experiments provided by the U.S. National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project, meet industry professionals, and tour the latest state-of-the-art technology exhibits in a scavenger hunt. Lunch will be provided.
Because of the popularity of this program, ATCE can accommodate a total of 200 students and chaperones. Schools will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis.
- All students participating must be 15 years of age or older.
- Please limit the number of students from your school to 25.
- One chaperone per 10 students is required.
- There is no cost to attend the workshop thanks to a generous sponsorship by Encana.

Because of increased security, we ask that the students leave all backpacks at school. Inform your students that they will need to remain with the tour group at all times.
