Young Technology Showcase
Overview
The Young Technology Showcase is designed to highlight youngtechnologies in the oil, gas, and related energy sectors. This program is available to all industry professionals.
Entries and supporting documents about young technologies are due to the review panel by 21 June 2013. The panel will then decide on the top 15 technologies to be featured in the Presentation Showcase Room on the exhibit floor at SPE's Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE). The decision of the panel is final.
Companies selected to present will be notified by 1 August.
Application Fees
- USD 500 for ATCE exhibitors
- USD 750 for non-exhibitors

Selection Criteria
To be considered for the Showcase, technologies must meet four general criteria: new technology, proven technical content, significant impact, and innovation. Both hardware and software technologies will be considered, and information must be submitted in writing.
Presentations
Company presentations will take place on the ATCE exhibit floor in the Presentation Showcase Room. The room has a capacity of 120. Presentations will be held during exhibit hours beginning on the hour on September 30, October 1, and October 2. Presentations can last a maximum of 40 minutes. Once a submission is approved, SPE staff will confirm presentation date and time.
