This award is the highest honor a chapter can receive, recognizing those that are exemplary in all categories. The awards are presented during the Student Awards Luncheon at the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition.
All student chapters that have accomplished an admirable level of activity are eligible for Gold Standard. All designated chapters will be honored with an official Gold Standard certificate.
All SPE student chapters that submit an annual report by 1 April are eligible for consideration by the standing committee on Section and Chapter Activities. Although multiple Gold Standard chapters may be designated, only one Outstanding Student Chapter will be awarded in each of the following regions:
