SPE Completions Exchange: Houston Pilot Event
The SPE Completions Exchange is a new, collaborative technical forum supported by the SPE Gulf Coast Section Completions & Production Study Group and SPE International, aimed at strengthening engagement within the global completions community through open knowledge exchange and practical problem solving. This pilot event brings together completions, reservoir, and subsurface professionals from operators, service companies, and consultancies.
Join us on 30 April for a program that combines a high-level panel discussion, focused technical presentations, and facilitated roundtables addressing emerging challenges and evolving best practices in completions engineering. Topics include automation and closed-loop fracturing, casing deformation, offshore completions, geothermal applications, and approaches to improve recovery factors.
The Houston‑based pilot is intended to serve as a foundation for broader regional and international engagement, with the ambition to expand the Completions Exchange to additional SPE sections worldwide and foster deeper cross-disciplinary collaboration.
