A Peer Apart

Last year, SPE created "A Peer Apart" to recognize those dedicated individuals who have been involved in the peer review of 100 or more papers. Members who commit to be peer reviewers make substantial contributions to the industry's literature by helping to ensure that the papers published in SPE's technical journals are of the highest quality. Over time, these individuals volunteer hundreds of hours to the society, making SPE journals a valuable resource for the industry.

This year, seven individuals join the elite group who have reached the milestone of 100 papers reviewed, bringing total membership of "A Peer Apart" to 97 dedicated members. These individuals were recognized during the Editorial Review Committee reception at SPE's Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition on 4 October 2009.
