Pushing the Recovery Limit with EOR

This workshop will bring together a number of global experts on enhanced oil recovery to discuss the technical and commercial feasability of EOR applications, issues, and challenges. The workshop will also bring several field pilots and case studies to the discussion. Participants will be able to exchange ideas and build a network of knowledgeable resources from different companies and countries around the world.
Objectives
This focused workshop will allow participants to:
- Enhance their understanding of key EOR processes to increase productivity in a cost effective manner
- Share and discuss the latest technology to ensure successful designing, monitoring, and implementing of EOR techniques
- Analyse and discuss all aspects of EOR implementation strategies: reservoir characterisation; infrastructure; technology; planning; data processing; and reservoir management
- Identify technical and economic regime challenges to be overcome
- Exchange ideas through group problem solving session
- Network with known experts
- Identify problems, solutions, and applications that can add value
- Discuss and agree on key challenges to applying EOR offshore, potential solutions, and further technology requirements
