About this Workshop

Workshop Description

To deliver sustainable business performance to the oil and gas industry, plant and equipment are to
be systematically maintained in a good and safe working condition. Challenges involved in achieving
this objective are continuously evolving as dictated by facilities ageing, fields maturing and economic
constraints. These challenges, compounded by increasingly stringent HSE regulations and a more
competitive business environment, dictate the maximisation of the economic value of the assets by
operating “beyond the established limits” in terms of equipment useful life, operating conditions severity, fluids corrosivity, etc…

This workshop intends to offer an opportunity for facilities integrity management professionals to share
their experience and best practices in managing the above challenges. The workshop proceedings have been developed to cover facilities from well to downstream refineries/petrochemical facilities over their whole life cycle from concept through engineering, construction, operating and decommissioning.

The workshop will also address business skills and organisational culture that are required for continuous improvement of integrity management systems including strategy for key integrity performance indicators.

Who Should Attend:

The workshop is mainly addressed to oil and gas professionals, involved in various disciplines such as facilities integrity management system, corrosion prevention, material selection or risk
assessment related to drilling, engineering, construction, production, maintenance, inspection or decommissioning activities.
