SPE ATW:
Drilling Automation
13-14 April 2010 | Galveston, Texas, USA
To encourage discussion, the Technical Program Committee is focusing on poster presentations related to new technology related to the workshop topic. The poster display should be prepared as graphic support of a specific topic that can be examined by colleagues, who in turn directly question the poster representative about any aspect of the display. From colleague feedback, the poster representative gains reaction, input, and ideas.
The poster display may include graphs, tables, photographs or illustrations. All the material should be sufficient size to be easily read. The poster should generally be prepared in the following manner:
The posters will be on display during breakfasts, lunches, breaks, and receptions. During those times, you are encouraged to be present to discuss the content and answer questions. If at all possible, SPE requests that poster presentations are mounted to poster boards before the start of the workshop on Tuesday morning. Mounting materials will be made available anytime after 3:00 p.m. on Monday, 12 April 2010. They will also be available between 7:00-8:00 am on Tuesday, 13 April 2010. SPE will provide mounting materials (poster board, Velcro, etc.) and place the posters on easels for viewing.
In the workshop wrap-up materials, released or edited posters (in PDF format) will be made available to the attendees on a password-protected SPE site for the Drilling Automation workshop.
Attendees are encouraged to submit poster presentations for the workshop.
If you wish to present a poster, please submit your abstract for review to mhudson@spe.org by 19 March 2010.
