Sponsorship Information

Sponsorship support helps offset the cost of producing workshops and allows SPE to keep the attendance price within reach of operations-level individuals, those who benefit most from these technical workshops. Sponsors benefit both directly and indirectly by having their names associated with a specific workshop.

While SPE prohibits any type of commercialism within the technical session room itself, the society recognises that sponsoring companies offer valuable information to attendees outside the technical sessions.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Event Sponsor

USD10,000 per sponsorship

The sponsorship package for this workshop has been designed to offer equal opportunity, maximum exposure and visibility for organisations in the energy industry.

Sponsorships received will be channelled towards providing financial assistance to discussion leaders and attendees from the academia, who would be expected to make major contribution to the technical programme, and would require financial support to attend the Workshop. Sponsorships will also be channelled towards underwriting the costs of the workshop, including the Welcome Reception/Dinner, coffee breaks, luncheons and group dinner.

Sponsorship Benefits

All sponsors will be acknowledged with company logo in the Workshop Delegate Packs and Workshop signage, and will be acknowledged at the Opening Session by the Workshop Chairman. Sponsor logos will also be featured on the SPE website and hyperlinked to the sponsor’s website.

Sponsorship Cancellation Policy

• SPE requires a fifty percent (50%) deposit on all sponsorships.  This deposit must be submitted with the signed Sponsorship Contract in order to secure a sponsorship and for recognition to begin.

• Upon receipt of a signed Sponsorship Contract and required deposit, SPE will send the sponsor a Confirmation Notice for Sponsorship.  No confirmation will be sent and no sponsorship will be acknowledged or promoted, either in print or on the SPE official website, until the sponsor has submitted the Sponsorship Contract and required deposit.

• The remaining fifty percent (50%) of all SPE sponsorships is due thirty (30) days prior to the event.  If a participant has contracted a sponsorship within thirty (30) days of the event, full payment (100%) is required with submittal of Sponsorship Contract in order to confirm the sponsorship.

• Payment is accepted in U.S. dollars only.  SPE accepts credit cards, checks, money orders and wire transfers.
• All cancellations must be presented in writing and will be reviewed and confirmed by SPE Management.
• Should a sponsor elect to cancel their confirmed sponsorship, the sponsor shall be responsible for penalties according to the following guidelines:
  • Company has submitted request and deposit, sponsorship has been confirmed:
    • 25% penalty shall be incurred for a cancellation occurring 90 days prior to the event
    • 50% penalty shall be incurred for a cancellation occurring 60-89 days prior to the event
    • 75% penalty shall be assessed for a cancellation occurring 30-60 days prior to the event
    • 100% penalty shall be assessed for a cancellation occurring within 30 days of the event.  No onsite recognition, signage will be provided expect for those conference materials that have been printed and cannot be changed before delivery to the conference
  • Should a sponsor neglect to provide a balance due payment for a cancellation of sponsorship, SPE has the right to deny the sponsor future sponsorship opportunities.
