Reservoir management is the key to harnessing maximum reserves economically through various depletion cycles
with due regard to HSE. Given the subsurface and other business uncertainties, IOC’s and NOC’s may have different
management philosophies. However, planning and executing data acquisition, interpretation and implementation of
business plans remain focal points of most reservoir engineers (REs).
