In some of mankind's greatest endeavours we are unable to actually witness or participate in person something we are trying to understand. Take for instance space exploration or ultra deep-sea diving. In these instances we are left with merely images taken from remote devices, minute samples retrieved, and various amounts of data that are collected through telemetric devices.
