Application Information

Participants at SPE Forums are selected by a steering committee on the basis of ability to contribute to the discussion of the topic.

Please obtain appropriate approvals from your supervisor prior to applying to the Forum. Include enough information about your experience and knowledge to enable the steering committee to evaluate your potential contribution to the Forum.

How to Apply

The deadline for online applications has now passed; however, manual applications are still being accepted.

If the committee accepts your application, you will receive registration materials, including more detailed information on housing, transportation, and fees. If your application is placed on a waiting list, you will receive notification of that fact. After notification of acceptance, your registration form with payment must be returned by 17 August to ensure your place in the Forum.

Forum Registration Fee

The Forum fee is EUR 1998 plus 23% VAT. This includes:

• Registration to attend all nine Forum sessions
• Five nights of hotel accommodation based on single occupancy
• Sunday evening welcome reception and dinner
• Daily breakfast buffet and lunches (Mon-Fri)
• Thursday farewell reception and dinner
• Coffee breaks throughout the duration of the Forum

Additional Costs (optional)

• Tours: Information on tours available during the Forum will be issued with the joining instructions to all accepted delegates.

Forum Accommodation

Accommodation at the The Hilton Vilamoura is included in the registration fee. The Hilton Vilamoura hotel is a well equipped hotel with air-conditioning, TV, direct dial telephone and high-speed internet access. The hotel has its own private spa/health club, with indoor swimming pool and golf course. Details of accommodation and rates for spouses and family members will be sent with the joining instructions.
