Message from the Chairpersons
Dear Colleagues,
The tenth biennial IADC/SPE Asia Pacific Drilling Technology Conference (APDT) will be held at the Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld from 25-27 August 2014 in Bangkok, Thailand. PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) is the Host Organisation for 2014 APDT.
The theme of the conference is “Driving Sustainable Growth Through Technology and Innovation”. With the expanding activities in the Asia Pacific region, particularly in deepwater and unconventional areas, our industry continues to face challenges with cost, technology, environment, and stakeholder expectations. This conference will focus on technological collaboration and innovation in addressing these challenges, and to achieve sustainable energy security.
APDT is the premier event for drilling and well technology professionals. It provides the opportunity for producers, contractors, and service company professionals to meet to discuss optimum ways of working together for the benefit of the whole oil and gas industry.
The programme committee invites you and your colleagues to submit a paper proposal(s) on a variety of drilling topics as listed in the back of this leaflet. We believe that this is a great opportunity for you to share and exchange your innovative ideas, successes, current applications, and emerging technologies with professionals involved with the Asia Pacific drilling operations.
