Advance Registration
- Early Bird Registration deadline is 3 July 2009.
- To advance register, please complete and return the Advance Registration Form. The deadline for receipt of the form is 17 July 2009.
- Advance registration should be made by fax to the SPE Asia Pacific Office (Kuala Lumpur). Payment on advance registration should be mailed to the SPE Asia Pacific Office (Kuala Lumpur), as indicated on the form, or fax your completed registration form with credit card information to SPE Asia Pacific Office (Kuala Lumpur), facsimile: 60.3.2284.9220.
Registration Payment
Advance registration payment by cheque or credit card:
- U.S. Dollar Cheque/Money Order payable to the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
- Credit Card payments will be in U.S. Dollars only: American Express, MasterCard, VISA, and Diners Club.

Please NOTE: Indonesian Rupiah, with the day’s exchange rate, will be accepted on site only. However, registrants are encouraged to advance register and then make payment on site at the conference
Conference materials and badges will not be mailed in advance, but should be collected at the Conference Registration Counter, Outside Entrance Foyer, Jakarta Convention Centre, during registration hours. To avoid congestion during the event, delegates are encouraged to collect their materials/badges at the Registration Counter on Monday, 3 August between 1200 - 1800 hours.
On-Site Registration
Delegates may register on-site at the Conference Registration Counter, Outside Entrance Foyer, Jakarta Convention Centre:
1200 - 1800 hours: Monday, 3 August
0730 - 1730 hours: Tuesday, 4 August
0730 - 1730 hours: Wednesday, 5 August
0730 - 1600 hours: Thursday, 6 August
Registration Package and Fees
Full Conference Period Registration Fee
Includes admission to technical sessions and exhibition, one CD-ROM proceedings, welcome reception, poster session reception, luncheons, daily coffee/tea breaks, and conference dinner (registrant and partner).
1-Day Registration Fee
Includes admission to all technical sessions and exhibition, luncheon, and coffee/tea breaks for that day only.
Students
Registration for technical sessions and exhibition is complimentary for full-time students. Complimentary registration does not include proceedings or any function tickets. Students are required to fax or photocopy their current Student ID with the registration form, or show their student ID when they collect their badges on site.
Refund Deadline
- Cancellations must be received in writing by the SPE Asia Pacific Office address shown on the Advance Registration Form no later than 17 July 2009 to receive a refund less US$150 processing fee.
- No refunds will be accepted after this date. Substitutions will be accepted.
Conference Proceedings
Advance full conference registration guarantees one (1) CD-ROM Proceedings and is available for collection at the conference. Additional CD-ROM Proceedings may be pre-ordered on the Advance Registration Form or purchased during registration hours at the conference for US$100 member and US$150 non-member. Participants are encouraged to order CD-ROM Proceedings in advance, as on-site availability is limited.
