“Leading the Energy Challenges with Care and Responsibility”

APOGCE, co-sponsored by SPE and the Society of Indonesian Petroleum Engineers (IATMI), provides a platform for oil and gas professionals to share knowledge ranging from traditional applications to the use of cutting-edge technology, from general topics to specific technical areas, and from past results to present field experience.

Today's energy industry faces escalating cost of goods and services while responding to increasing regulatory and public pressure and the need for high production rates. This places a strain on all resources. There has never been a more demanding time for the industry to provide immediate solutions while maintaining high safety standards and a low environmental impact.

For the first time, the APOGCE and the SPE Asia Pacific Health, Safety, Security and Environment Conference (APHSSEC) will be held simultaneously, bringing together two distinct groups of professionals to create new synergies to address these issues. For these reasons, the Technical Programme Committees has decided on a single theme for these concurrent conferences: “Leading the Energy Challenges with Care and Responsibility.”
