Conference CD-ROM Proceedings
Being the most important technical documentation for the conference, the CD-ROM Proceedings contains papers which are represented at the conference. The Proceedings is an excellent source of reference for the delegates and people in the oil and gas industry. The sponsor will receive:
- Acknowledgement under the heading “Corporate Sponsor(s)” on the introductory screen inside the
CD-ROM Proceedings - Acknowledgement at the Opening Session by the Conference Chairman
- Half (1/2) page advertisement in the Conference Programme
- One (1) complimentary full conference registration* per A$12,500 sponsorship
Conference Luncheons
One (1) luncheon per day over 3 days
Luncheon will be provided each day at the Brisbane Convention Centre to all full conference registrants.
These conference luncheons will provide the attendants with the opportunity for networking and the
sponsor an opportunity to demonstrate hospitality to conference delegates. The sponsor will receive:
- Company name and logo prominently displayed in the luncheon area and acknowledgment cards on the tables
- Company name and logo signage displayed at the luncheon area
- One (1) table (eight pax) at the day’s luncheon
- One (1) complimentary full conference registration* per sponsorship of $15,000
Student Paper Contest
This sponsorship will pay for the travelling/accommodation expenses of the winners of the Student Paper Contest (2 students) to present their paper at the 2011 SPE International Student Paper Contest in Denver, Colorado, USA. The sponsor will receive:
- Acknowledgement during the student paper contest award presentation at the Tuesday luncheon
- One (1) table of eight persons reserved for the student award presentation luncheon
- Nomination of a senior representative to award the prizes to the winners (in conjunction with SPE
representative) - One (1) complimentary full conference registration*
Evening Ice Breaker
This function to be held on Sunday, 17 October will be a welcoming event for all delegates/exhibitors and other conference participants to renew and establish new acquaintances. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served. The sponsor will receive:

Conference Satchel
All full registered delegates will receive one satchel. The sponsor will receive:

Technical Sessions AV
All Technical Session Rooms and Author Check-In Rooms will be equipped with audio-visual equipment such as laptop computer, LCD (Microsoft PowerPoint Projector), as well as other necessary audio visual equipment. The sponsor will receive:
- A slide bearing your company’s name and logo projected on the screen in all of the technical session rooms
Conference Preview
This brochure will be distributed to more than 5,000 SPE members and will be posted on the SPE website. It is the trademark of the SPE conference and exhibition and it contains the technical programme, list of papers/events, general information, registration forms, hotel booking form, etc. The sponsor will receive:
- One (1) full-page complimentary colour advertisement (if desired) in the Conference Preview
- One (1) complimentary full conference registration*
Education Day
The Education Day is an initiative to introduce students to the discipline of petroleum engineering, and the industry in general. It will be an important feature of the conference. Up to 50 students will be invited to attend the conference on the second day (19 October 2010). In addition to a scheduled guided tour of the exhibition, industry professionals will be invited to share their experience with the students and deliver talks on topics of general interest and relevance to the industry. The sponsor will receive:
- Company’s name and logo displayed at the Education Day function room foyer
- Acknowledgement at the opening of the Education Day
- Slide bearing the company’s name and logo projected on the screen during the Education Day
- One (1) complimentary full conference registration* per co-sponsor
Young Professionals Workshop
This workshop will provide an opportunity for young professionals (YPs) to meet with their peers and senior industry executives to address issues of importance to them. There will be presentations from industry professionals, coupled with structured discussions. It is also an opportunity for informal networking with other YPs and panellists over lunch. Your contribution entitles you to:

- Acknowledgement at the opening of the workshop

Directional Signage
Clear signage will be in place to direct conference delegates entering the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition
Centre to the various meeting rooms, exhibition hall and other key functions/events (with the exceptions
mentioned in the specific events, e.g. daily luncheon, etc.). Your contribution entitles you to:

Conference Programme
A handy pocket conference programme and exhibitor guide will be distributed to conference delegates. The Conference Programme will contain the programme of the conference and exhibition. The sponsor will receive:

Coffee/Tea Breaks
Morning coffee and afternoon tea breaks will be provided at the exhibit area. The sponsor will receive:

Nametag Lanyard
The nametag lanyard (strap) is designed to hang around the necks of all delegates, which will be distributed to them together with their conference badges. The sponsor will receive:

Conference writing pads will be included in the delegates satchel. The sponsor will receive:

All presenting authors and Technical Programme Committee Members will receive a memento for their

Opening Session
The Opening Session at the Conference emphasises the conference theme and sets the scene for the issues and information to be presented during the following three days. Approximately 300 – 400 persons are expected to attend the Opening Session. The sponsor will receive:

- PowerPoint slide with company’s name and logo projected during the Opening Ceremony
Pens
Conference pens will be included in the delegates satchel. The sponsor will receive:

Authors' Breakfast
Presenting authors and session chairpersons will meet in the morning to discuss paper presentation format and other details on the daily technical sessions. Sponsor(s) will receive:

Bottled drinking water will be provided to attendees and visitors in all technical session rooms as well as in the exhibition hall. The sponsor will receive:
