Principal Sponsors

Your commitment of AUD 45,000 as a principal sponsor entitles you to:

  • Insert one (1) item bearing information about your organisation in the conference satchel.
  • One (1) page colour advertisement in the Conference Programme (if desired).
  • Prominent signage on the stage during the conference Opening Session.

Conference Dinner

The conference dinner and ball will be held on Tuesday, 22 October 2012, providing conference delegates the opportunity to socialize and enjoy a relaxed evening. This exciting special event will be an elegant occasion with a sit-down dinner and great entertainment. The sponsor(s) will receive:

  • Company name and logo signage displayed at the venue.
  • Acknowledgement during the conference dinner.
  • One (1) complimentary full conference registration* per AUD 15,000 sponsorship.

Conference Proceedings

Being the most important technical documentation for the conference, the Proceedings contains papers which are presented at the conference. All full registration delegates will receive the Proceedings at the conference. The Proceedings is an excellent source of reference for the delegates and people in the oil and gas industry. The sponsor(s) will receive:

  • Acknowledgement under the heading “Corporate Sponsor(s)” on the introductory screen inside the Proceedings.
  • Half (1/2) page advertisement in the Conference Programme.
  • Acknowledgement at the Opening Session of the conference.
  • One (1) complimentary full conference registration* per AUD12,500 sponsorship.

Conference Luncheons

Luncheon will be provided each day at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre to all full conference registrants. These luncheons will provide attendants with the opportunity for networking and offer the sponsor an opportunity to demonstrate hospitality to conference delegates. The sponsor will receive:

  • Company name and logo prominently displayed at the luncheon area and acknowledgement cards on the tables.
  • One (1) table (for eight persons) at the day’s luncheon.
  • Company information (if desired) to be available at the entrance to the luncheon area.
  • One (1) complimentary full conference registrations* per sponsorship of AUD17,500.

Student Paper Contests

This sponsorship will pay for the travelling/accommodation expenses of the winners of the Student Paper Contests (2 students) to present their papers at the SPE International Student Paper Contest, held during the 2013 Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition, in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A. The sponsor will receive:

  • Acknowledgement during the student paper contest award presentation.
  • One (1) table (for eight persons) in the student award presentation luncheon.
  • Nomination of a senior representative to award prizes to the winners of the student paper contest. (in conjunction with SPE representative).
  • One (1) complimentary full conference registration*

Conference delegates can view the e-poster presentations during coffee breaks scheduled in the morning and afternoon. The sponsor will receive:

Conference Satchel

All full registration delegates will receive one satchel, containing information and materials on the conference. The sponsor will receive:

A Happy Hour reception will be held in the exhibition area on Monday evening for delegates and exhibitors to network. Drinks will be served. The sponsor will receive:

Technical Sessions Room Audio Visual

All Technical Session Rooms and Author Check-In Room will be equipped with audio-visual equipment such as laptop computers, LCD Projectors, as well as other necessary audio visual equipment. The sponsor(s) will receive:

  • A slide bearing your company’s name and logo projected on the screen in all of the technical session rooms.
  • One (1) complimentary full conference registration* per AUD 6,000 sponsorship.

Young Professionals Workshop

This workshop will provide an opportunity for young professionals (YPs) to meet with their peers and senior industry executives to address issues of importance to them. There will be presentations from industry professionals, coupled with structured discussions. It is also an opportunity for informal networking with other YPs and panelists over lunch. The sponsor will receive:

  • Company’s name and logo displayed at the workshop foyer.
  • Acknowledgement at the opening of the Workshop.
  • Slide bearing the company’s name and logo projected on the screen at the workshop.

Education Day

The Education Day is an initiative to introduce students to the discipline of petroleum engineering, and the industry in general. It will be an important feature of the conference. Up to 50 students will be invited to attend the conference on the second day (23 October 2012). In addition to a scheduled guided tour of the exhibition, industry professionals will be invited to share their experience with the students and deliver talks on topics of general interest and relevance to the industry. The sponsor will receive:

Conference Preview

The brochure will be distributed to more than 5,000 SPE members and will be posted on the SPE website. It is the trademark of the SPE conference and exhibition and it contains technical programme, list of papers/events, general information, registration forms, hotel booking form, etc. The sponsor will receive:

  • One (1) full-page complimentary colour advertisement (if desired) in the Conference Preview.
  • One (1) complimentary full conference registration*.

Teachers' Day

The Teachers’ Day is a new initiative to introduce and educate teachers on the opportunities and methods to educate students about energy so they may become part of the solution in meeting the growing demand for energy. The programme offers hands-on activities that teachers can apply in their classrooms, a guided tour of the exhibition with opportunities to interact with energy professionals and talks designed to gain a better insight of what the industry is and what it has to offer the students. Up to 30 teachers will be invited to attend the conference. The sponsor will receive:

  • Company’s name and logo displayed at the Teachers’ Day function room foyer.
  • Acknowledgement at the opening of the Teachers’ Day.
  • One (1) complimentary full conference registrations*

Directional Signage

Clear signage will be in place to direct conference delegates entering the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre to the various meeting rooms, exhibition hall and other key functions/events (with the exceptions mentioned in the specific events, e.g. daily luncheon, etc.). A handy pocket conference programme and exhibitor guide will be distributed to conference delegates. The Conference Programme will contain the programme of the conference and exhibition. The sponsor will receive:

The Opening Session at the Conference emphasises the conference theme and sets the scene for the issues and information to be presented during the following three days. Approximately 400 – 500 persons are expected to attend the Opening Session. The sponsor will receive:

Ice cream counters will be strategically positioned in the exhibition hall to provide a cooling refreshment in the afternoons during the conference. The sponsor will receive:
