Energy4me “Energize Your Classroom” Teacher Workshop

Energy4me, the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ (SPE) energy education outreach program, is inviting science teachers (for ages 10 to 18) to learn how to implement energy topics into their classroom during the Caspian Technical Conference! Explore the science behind oil and gas innovation and how engineers and geoscientists are able to unlock supplies of energy throughout the world.

A variety of free instructional materials will be available to take back to the classroom.

Energy4me “Energize Your Classroom” Teacher Workshop Activities

  • Presentation Oil and Gas Exploration and Production
    A keynote speaker will present the role of energy in our everyday lives, followed by a short question and answer period.
  • Hands-on Classroom Activities
    Teachers will learn age-appropriate science experiments that can energize their classrooms through hands-on activities related to energy and petroleum exploration and production.

Attend the Workshop

Space is limited – Registration will end 23 October.  You will be notified via email if you have been accepted to attend this year’s workshop.

  • There is no cost for teachers to attend the workshop
  • Breakfast and Lunch will be provided
  • Teachers will receive a form at the workshop for school cover teacher reimbursement
