North America Coiled Tubing Market Trends & Implications for International Markets

Speaker: Alex Robart, Partner, PacWest Consulting Partners

Alex RobartAlexander Robart is a Partner with PacWest Consulting Partners. He has more than a decade of strategy consulting experience across multiple industries including oil and gas, energy, industrials, and resources. As a Partner with PacWest for the last five years, he has focused primarily on working with Upstream oil and gas clients, including Super Majors, independent E&Ps, oilfield services companies, equipment manufacturers, and financials, both in North America and internationally.

Robart directs PacWest’s consulting practice. Throughout the course of his work, he has led projects focused on nearly every segment of the Upstream well development lifecycle, including land acquisition, exploration, drilling, completion, and production. He has also led projects focused on various Midstream and Downstream segments. His range of projects often include market analysis and assessment, procurement/sourcing strategy development, strategic planning, and transaction advisory/commercial due diligence.

Robart has developed deep expertise over the course of many projects with a range of market participants in pressure pumping services, completion equipment and services, frac and coiled tubing equipment manufacturing, oilfield water management, and stimulation chemicals, particularly guar.

Robart continues to be intimately involved in the development of PacWest’s market-leading suite of research products and has advanced much of PacWest’s international unconventional market analysis and forecasting efforts. He has spent extensive time on-the-ground in key international markets, including Argentina, China, and India, launching PacWest’s first China-focused research offering and its Beijing office.

Robart speaks regularly at energy conferences in North America and abroad. His North American presentations often focus on various market developments and trends, including for particular oilfield services segments such as pressure pumping, coiled tubing, or water management. His international presentations often focus on the topics of supply chain and infrastructure challenges associated with international unconventional development and applications of North American oilfield services technology and practices abroad.

Robart was formerly a consultant with Booz & Company.  He holds an engineering degree from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

This panel discussion will highlight fracturing and stimulation techniques and techniques for milling frac isolation plugs utilized in these pumping type operations.
