SPE is pleased to provide you with quick access to important information regarding exhibiting at the 2010 Canadian Unconventional Resources International Petroleum Conference and Exhibition. We encourage you to review each section and contact us should you have any questions. Contact information, as well as details on official and exclusive contractors, are listed on the Official Contractors List.

Exhibit Schedule and directions to Calgary Marriott Hotel can be found under the Maps and Transportation Section.

New Registration Process

SPE Registration department will be sending you your very own personal link to register as an exhibitor and provide the names of your personnel to be on the exhibiting floor. Additional exhibitor registrations may be purchased using your personalized link.

Exhibit Regulations Information

The 2010 SPE Exhibit Regulations is the one of the most important document you need to review and share with your colleagues. The regulations have been developed to provide you with all of the rules and regulations regarding exhibiting at SPE. Individual questions regarding specific regulations relating to your booth (design/installation, etc) can be found in this section. These regulations will be enforced.

Note: Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the Exhibit Area during installation and dismantle. Children under the age of 15 are not permitted in the Exhibit Area during official show hours.

  • Online Exhibitor Registration will be open very soon. Please check back often to register your staff for badges.

Marketing Programs

GES Canada

SPE has appointed GES Canada as the official decorator and labor contractor. GES can assist you with carpet, furnishings, labor, modular exhibit rentals, signs/graphics and hanging sign labor. Visit GES Online to order GES services, view important dates, and print forms.  Many of the forms are also shown on the Deadline/Discount Checklist.

BMO Stampede Information and Order Forms

Material Handling Freight Services

GES Canada is the exclusive contractor to control access to the BMO Calgary Stampede Park for all delivery and freight trucks, administer assignment and usage of loading docks, and supervise the GES personnel for the loading and unloading of freight shipments.

Booth furnishings or labor from GES Canada is due by: 5 October 2010.  

Exhibit materials to be shipped directly to the GES Warehouse must be received by 13 October 2010. Shipments received after, 13 October will be charged at the direct shipment rate.

Shipments may arrive directly to expo facility, The BMO- Calgary Stampede Center, on or after: 17 October 2010.

Additional Services

SPE provides its exhibitors with resources to obtain the additional services you may require to maximize your exhibiting experience.  Before ordering from another source, check the Official Service Contractors List in the General Exhibition Information section for exclusive contractors which are designated by an asterisk.

AV Services may be ordered from an outside vendor, however, they will then be considered an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor and you must submit a Work Authorization Form to cover them.  They must also agree to follow the attached Outside AV Supplier Policies Checklist.
