Welcome to the 2012 IADC/SPE Drilling Conference (12DC). SPE is pleased to provide you with quick access to important information regarding exhibiting at the 2012 Drilling Conference. We encourage you to review the contents of the Exhibitor Services Manual carefully.
For 2012
- Exhibit hall is carpeted with green carpet. Drape colors will be forest green and beige.
Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the Exhibit Area during installation and dismantle. Children under the age of 15 are not permitted in the Exhibit Area during official show hours.

Marketing Programs
List Your Exhibit
- Login and complete your online and printed exhibitor listing for the Conference Program by 18 January 2012.
- Enhance your online listing by adding up to three product descriptions and photo. For questions regarding your company password, contact MaryAnn at 1.972.952.9518 or via email moutarsingh@spe.org
Guest Cards Information
- Three (3) complimentary Guest Cards will be sent to the Exhibitor application contact for them to invite key prospects and current customers to visit your booth at 12DC. Additional guest cards will be available for purchase at 50.00USD per guest card.
- Guest cards may not be used for exhibiting booth personnel.

1. Official Contractor Services
- SPE has named GES as the Official Contractor and Decorator
- If you plan to use an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) other than GES, you must submit a Work Authorization Request Form (WAR) no later than 30 January 2012.
- If you are using the Official Contractor Service Providers, there is no need to fax in a WAR form or EAC paperwork.
- Upon receipt of a Work Authorization Request Form, SPE Exhibits STAFF will send the required paperwork to the appointed EAC.
- The EAC packet listed below is mandatory before the Exhibition: The Exhibitor is responsible for making sure that their EAC provides the necessary, mandatory forms for EAC personnel to be allowed on the floor to service the exhibit booths. All paperwork must be received no later than 15 February 2012.

2. Decorator and Labor Contractor
GES Services is the official decorator and labor contractor.

3. Utilities and Other Booth Services
Material Handling Freight Services
GES is the exclusive contractor that controls and supervises delivery and freight truck access to the San Diego Town & Country Resort & Convention Center, assignments and usage of loading docks, and the Teamsters Union Labor responsible for the loading and unloading of freight shipments.
All carriers must check in with GES.

Registration Information
- The number of complimentary Full Conference Registrations will be, three (3) per 100 square feet of contracted exhibit space. Registration includes admittance to Technical Sessions, Opening Reception, Exhibition, Coffee Breaks, and Networking Luncheons. One copy of the CD Proceedings will be sent to the primary contact following the event.
- A personalized link and login information will be provided in an email to the primary contact, once space has been assigned. This information will be sent from registration@spe.org . Please setup @spe.org as a safe domain so that emails will not go into your spam folder.
- You may purchase up to two times (2X), your allotted complimentary Full Conference Registrations online as well. Please refer to the “Paid Exhibitor Section” of the Online Exhibitor Registration Form.
- Domestic exhibitor badges will be mailed prior to the conference for registrations received prior to 6 February. After 6 February, badges will be available for pick-up onsite.
- International registrations will be held for pick-up onsite only.
- Pre-registered badges may be picked up on site at Registration, beginning Monday, 5 March at 1500 hours, located in Atlas Foyer.
