Accommodation

Rooms have been reserved at the Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin at the rate of EUR 170 for single usage and EUR 190 for double occupancy.  The conference will be taking place at a busy time of year in Noordwijk.

To ensure that you are able to reserve a room at Huis ter Duin, we would recommend booking early.
Make your housing arrangements online by visiting:  www.huisterduin.com/groupbooking. Please enter the access code 31143 and book before 26 April 2013 to receive the conference rate. All rooms have free internet facilities. Check-in opens at 1430 and check-out is at 1100.

Terms and Conditions:

• Cancelations need to be made 48 hours in advance in writing directly to the hotel.
• Payment guarantee
  When you check-in, the hotel staff will ask you for a payment guarantee. This can be provided in various ways - an imprint of your credit card or a cash deposit to the value of the reservation you have made.
• Payment
  When you check-out, you must settle any additional charges you have incurred. The hotel will adjust the total amount you have incurred against the received payment guarantee.
• Tourist tax
  The room and arrangement prices are exclusive of EUR 3.65 tourist tax per person per night.
  

Travel

The hotel is 20 minutes from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport : www.schiphol.nl

Venue Directions from Schiphol airport to Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin:

• Take the train from Schiphol to Leiden Central train station (15min)
• From Leiden, take the number 40 or 44 bus and leave the bus at PickéPlein in Noordwijk. (25min)

Please note: Unfortunately, there is no train station in Noordwij. Taxi’s are available from Schiphol airport; this will normally be around EUR 50-70 and will take about 25 minutes. Further information on getting to the venue can be found on the hotel website: www.huisterduin.com.

Visa Information

If you are planning a short visit to the Netherlands and you are not a Dutch national, you may need to apply for a Schengen visa. The Netherlands is one of the 26 European countries forming the Schengen area which have no border controls between them. These countries also issue a common visa, the Schengen visa. Attendees from countries that require a visa for entry are reminded that the process of obtaining a visa may take several months. Whilst SPE can provide an invitation letter upon request, please note that this letter does not guarantee that you will be granted a visa, nor does it commit SPE to assist you in obtaining a visa.
