If you are planning a short visit to the Netherlands and you are not a Dutch national, you may need to apply for a Schengen visa. The Netherlands is one of the 26 European countries forming the Schengen area which have no border controls between them. These countries also issue a common visa, the Schengen visa. Please visit http://denmark.nlembassy.org/services/consular-services/visa/visas-for-the-netherlands-schengen-visas.html to establish if you require a visa and for application information. Attendees from countries that require a visa for entry are reminded that the process of obtaining a visa may take several months. Whilst SPE can provide an invitation letter upon request, please note that this letter does not guarantee that you will be granted a visa, nor does it commit SPE to assist you in obtaining a visa.
