SPE Asia Pacific Regional Student Paper Contest
Tuesday, 25 October • 1400-1730 hours • Studio One and Studio Two, Level 2
At this regional contest, shortlisted students present and compete for the opportunity to advance and represent Asia Pacific at the International Student Paper Contest, held during the Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE). The winning regional undergraduate and postgraduate students are sponsored to attend the international contest and their papers are published in the conference proceedings and on OnePetro. Conference delegates are encouraged to attend and support the student presentations.
Note: Regional university students who are interested to participate in this contest, please refer to your student chapter or section officers and submit the required form and abstract by 22 July 2016.

Education Day is an initiative to introduce local high school students to Petroleum Engineering and the broader oil and gas industry. Students with a keen interest in mathematics and science, and considering further education in engineering are invited to participate in this exciting, hands-on learning experience.
Thursday, 27 October • 0900-1400 hours • Studio One, Level 2
Teachers’ Day is an initiative to introduce local high school teachers to the energy industry by showing them how they can incorporate science, engineering, technology and energy topics into classrooms through creative teaching and fun interactive activities.
