A highlight of the conference will be the Innovation Awards Dinner, providing a fantastic opportunity for teams to come together to celebrate their successes and acknowledge the work of their industry colleagues in a gala dinner setting.

All full conference registrants are invited to attend the Innovation Awards Dinner on Tuesday, 11 September. These awards recognise excellence and innovation in health and safety performance and environmental management.

For the first time in the history of the SPE/APPEA International HSE International Conference, awards will be presented for innovations in health, safety and environment at the conference dinner. These innovation awards serve to provide inspiration and to demonstrate how the industry is continuously raising the bar in health, safety and environmental performance, sharing best practice and providing inspiration to the entire industry.

This promises to be a superb evening comprising of the top level Australian entertainment, providing the additional opportunity to relax and network with the industry.

Enjoy what promises to be an outstanding event, and acknowledging the work of your industry colleagues and finalists in the SPE/APPEA HSE Innovation Awards. Individuals can book a ticket to the dinner or multiple tickets are available for a company wishing to take their team or entertain guests.

Full Day Pinnacle Tour, Sand Boarding and 4WD Drive with Picnic Lunch

Explore the world renowned Pinnacles Desert, an amazing moon like landscape. Experience off road driving and sand boarding on huge white sand dunes and see wildlife up close.

Full Day Margaret River, Cave, Wine Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse and Busselton Jetty with Picnic Lunch

Busselton Jetty – the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere Margaret River Winery, including a wine tasting.

Mammoth Cave – a guided tour of the limestone caves Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, the dividing point between the Southern and Indian oceans.

Margaret River Township – free time to explore the quaint but chic specialty stores Boranup Forest - home to the karri tree.

Full Day Perth, Fremantle and Swan Valley Tour

Kings Park Botanic Gardens – see boab trees, view the Perth city skyline from the Tree Top Walkway.

Fremantle – explore this historical port by the Swan River.

Swan River Cruise – there is an option to cruise back along the Swan River from Fremantle.

Swan Valley - Australia's oldest wine growing region. There is also stop at an outlet of the Margaret River Chocolate Company.

Wine Tasting – taste the local produce at Sandalford Wines.

Caversham Wildlife Park - see koalas, kangaroos and an Australian farm show, including sheep shearing and whip cracking.

Full Day Wave Rock with Picnic Lunch

Journey through the wheat belt region to Wave Rock, one of Australia's incredible natural monuments. Visit the historic township of York and view other significant geological formations of the area.

Rockingham Shoalwater Safari

A 90-minute cruise on adventure boat to see sea lions and dolphins, visit the penguin feeding at discovery center, free and leisure on Penguin Island.

Discovery Rottnest Island Tour with Lunch

Enjoy a break taking train ride to Oliver Hill and be guided on a tour of the massive 9.2 inch diameter gun and tunnel system that forms part of Rottnest’s military herigate complete with morning tea and lunch.
