YP Session

Building a Collaborative HSSE Culture Across the Industry

What would be your approach to drive better performance and gain industry alignment in regards to HSSE? Regulators, the public, and government often judge our industry as the lowest performers. Do you have any ideas on how to build a consistent and collaborative culture across the industry so that everyone shares the same objectives of reducing safety incidents to zero and protecting the environment? If so, can this be done without sacrificing individual companies' competitive advantages or antitrust concerns? The topic scope includes all aspects of HSSE and all types of industry companies, including operators, drillers, and service companies.

This session starts with brief presentations from industry experts who provide background on some of the challenges associated with aligning industry HSSE performance expectations. Participants then break out into teams to develop an approach or idea to address this challenge.

Young professionals (<35 years of age or <10 years industry experience) and students from all HSSE disciplines are encouraged to sign up.
