« Return to Call for Papers

In December 2010, the SPE Latin American and Caribbean Petroleum Engineering Conference (LACPEC) will be held in Lima, Peru.  This event facilitates the technology and societal needs of Latin America and the Caribbean as these needs relate to the petroleum engineering discipline.

Under the theme “Latin America's Energy Challenge: Sustainable and Responsible Economic Development,” the conference will consider the traditional needs of maximizing recovery and productivity and enabling the economies and societies of these regions to fully benefit from their hydrocarbon resources.

The program committee invites you to submit your technical advancement, new method, case study, or practical application as a conference technical paper.  Please submit your paper proposal online by 4 May 2010.

If your paper is selected, you will present it to an audience of your peers at LACPEC 2010. Your paper will also be included in the multisociety library, OnePetro.

LACPEC 2010 is a 3-day event featuring more than 120 technical paper presentations, posters, and panel sessions.  We invite you to participate as an attendee, an author, or as an exhibition. Join us to network with industry colleagues and view emerging and peripheral technology related to the oil and gas sector in the regions.

Showcase your technical achievements at SPE’s premier technical conference in Latin America and the Caribbean.
