Women in the Industry Special Event

This new event, being held at the SPE Latin American and Caribbean Petroleum Engineering Conference, will help encourage women’s personal and professional development in the oil and gas industry. 

A group of executives, who have successful careers in the industry, discuss their challenges, career planning, mentorship, and networking. The session details how to achieve a balance between career and personal lives and discusses how to attract and retain women in the industry.

This session will offer opportunities to interact during the presentations. Attendees of this session will:

  • Participate in the discussion of women’s image in the industry
  • Discover ways to encourage and motivate young female professionals
  • Discuss the challenges that women face
  • Learn about personal and professional development
  • Discuss specific issues for female professionals in the Latin American and Caribbean region
