Taking place under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Abdul-Hussain Ali Mirza, Minister of Oil and Gas Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain, the SPE/IADC Middle East Drilling Technology Conference and Exhibition (MEDT) will take place 26-28 October 2009 at the Gulf Hotel in Manama, Bahrain.
MEDT is co-organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC). MEDT will have an in-depth focus on the drilling discipline, which is an area of continuous development and challenge.
With the theme “Managing Limited Resources to Overcome Today’s Challenges,” MEDT will cover equipment, technology, and challenges. The comprehensive program will feature technical sessions and numerous networking opportunities for all drilling professionals.
