This is the fifth HSSE event that SPE has sponsored in the Middle East. The previous event took place in 2008 in Doha, Qatar and was a great success. MEHSSE is becoming a landmark event in the region as it combines a world-class technical conference with an international exhibition.

This conference is under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Abdul-Hussain bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Oil and Gas Affairs and Chairman of the National Oil and Gas Authority, Kingdom of Bahrain.

This conference will have as its theme as "Striving for HSE Excellence in a Changing World: Capacity, Energy Demand, Security, World Economy & Social Responsibility"
