About the Conference
Inaugurated in 1979, the Middle East Oil & Gas Show and Conference (MEOS), is the most established exhibition of oil and gas products and services in the Middle East, attracting NOCs, IOCs and major operating companies. This premier event, organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) in collaboration with Arabian Exhibition Management (AEM), is the largest and best attended technical event of its kind in the region. MEOS offers exceptional networking, business and educational opportunities to all professionals with an interest in the future of the Middle East’s hydrocarbon industry.
The MEOS 2011 Conference Chairman is Mohammad A. Husain, Deputy Chairman & Deputy Managing Director Planning and Gas, Kuwait Oil Company. The Programme Chairman is Abdulaziz O. Al-Kaabi, Chief Technologist, Saudi Aramco, and the Programme Co-Chairmen are Khaled Nouh, President Middle East, Baker Hughes, and Robert Bunch, Technical Manager, Exxon (Al-Khalij) Incorporated.
MEOS 2011 will feature more than 100 technical presentations during concurrent sessions. The proposed conference agenda comprises a high level executive plenary session, five panel sessions featuring technical leaders sharing their views on issues of paramount importance to the industry, a special session focusing on financial challenges, and a range of other activities.
