2009 Middle East Oil and Gas Show and Conference

Call for Papers

Dear Colleagues

On behalf of the 2009 MEOS Technical Programme Committee, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to join us in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the 16th SPE Middle East Oil and Gas Show and Conference, to be held 15-18 March 2009 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.

The Conference Chairman for the 2009 MEOS will be Mr. Faisal Al-Mahroos, Deputy Chief Executive, (Upstream) BAPCO.

The theme of the 2009 MEOS will be:

People, Demand, Technology-Bridging the Gaps

This conference brings together world wide energy professionals to discuss the major issues faced in the oil and gas industry related to human resources, the demand and its impact on production and the technological advancements required to face such challenges.

The 2009 MEOS theme highlights the different challenges faced in each of these categories through a multi-session programme that features invited international speakers.

I hereby, would like to invite you to contribute to one of the most successful events in the region by submitting a paper abstract for consideration by the committee. There is a set of specific categories that are of special interest for MEOS 2009. These are available on page 4, please submit your paper proposal according to a specified category.

The quality of MEOS is ultimately dependent on the quality of the papers presented at conference. This is your opportunity to contribute to that MEOS quality, because to be selected for either a paper or poster presentation is a distinct achievement in your professional career.

It is very easy to submit your paper proposal, as it is done entirely on-line. Please also note that abstracts cannot be accepted after the deadline date, so please submit well in advance.

Get a chance to share the stage with leaders and best professionals at the 2009 MEOS by submitting a paper proposal today.

We look forward to your participation

Yours Sincerely,

Mohamed Hashem
