SPE Student Chapters' Officers Workshop

This two‐day program is for the benefit of officers for SPE student chapters' officers within Egypt. It is anticipated that some 50‐80 students will be selected to attend the program.

The purpose of this program is to give the students a clear insight of the industry that they are about to join, to allow them to return to their universities and colleges with a positive message to relate to their fellow students, and to provide opportunities for students to form new friendships and work together on joint activities. SPE also wanted to appreciate the chapters' officers for the time volunteered to serve as members within their university.

Regional Student Paper Contest

SPE holds regional student paper contests allowing students at the undergraduate, master's, and doctorate level to showcase their skills and research. Competing against other students from their region for the opportunity to participate, the international student paper contest will take place at the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition in New Orleans, USA from 30 September to 2 October 2013.
