Chemistry and chemicals are critical in all phases of oil and gas operations. The 2011 SPE International Symposium on Oilfield Chemistry (OCS) will focus on new and emerging chemical technologies with papers covering laboratory studies and field applications.  Sessions are being developed with input from the diverse background of the program committee comprised of engineers and scientists from operators, service companies, academia, and consultancy.
