The 2012 theme for the conference will be “Carbon Steel: The Right Long Term Choice?” Carbon steel remains the primary material of construction for the vast majority of new facilities and infrastructure primarily on a cost basis. This event intends to explore all aspects of carbon steel from initial selection to treatment programmes (both internal and external) as well as integrity management, refinery corrosion and beyond.
