Welcome Reception

Petroleum Club

The welcome reception offers attendees the opportunity to meet and greet colleagues and
other industry professionals. The reception is included in the full conference and student registration fees.

The Petroleum Club is located four blocks from the Midland Center. The address is 501 West Wall Street. It takes approximately 6 minutes to walk to the Petroleum Club.

Keynote Luncheon

Keynote Speaker: Pat Bond, Vice President, Southwest Region, Schlumberger

Pat Bond is vice president of Schlumberger’s Southwest Region. In his 28-year career, he has held a variety of positions in operations, management, engineering, and business development.

Bond is a board member of various industry and non-profit organizations, and in particular, he chairs the Energy Educators Committee at the Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association.  He holds a BS degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
