2008 SPE Shale Gas Production Conference Program Committee
Dear Petroleum Industry Colleague:
On behalf of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the conference program committee, we are pleased to invite you to the first SPE Shale Gas Production Conference, to be held 17–19 November 2008 in Irving, Texas.
This is a new conference aimed at being "ahead of the curve" for shale gas assessment, development, production, and operations. The conference will focus on current and emerging technologies relevant to shale gas in areas such as geology, petrophysics, microseismic imaging, reservoir and production engineering, well construction, and water management issues.
