Letter from the Chairpersons
Dear Fellow Professional,
The program committee for the 2010 SPE Tight Gas Completions Conference announces its call for paper proposals. Challenging technical and economic hurdles must be overcome to unlock tight gas reservoirs and this conference will focus on the engineering, techniques, tools, and technologies necessary to develop such reservoirs. Focus areas include ensuring technical and commercial success, safe and efficient well construction, and effective well performance.
Potential authors are encouraged to submit a detailed paper proposal and authors whose paper proposals are accepted will be expected to provide a manuscript for the inclusion in the meeting Proceedings. Authors will be notified of paper proposal acceptance approximately one month after the close of call for papers.
Paper selections are based solely on the content of the paper proposal and the committee strongly encourages the authors to obtain necessary clearance from your management.
The submission deadline is 12 April 2010. We look forward to your participation!
