It is recognised that the impact of ‘unconventionals’ is considered a threat by many, and so this event is aimed at understanding both the technical and technological solutions to economically produce unconventional oil and gas. Additionally, discussions will present the regulations and technologies that will help address non-technical and environmental challenges including access, footprint, water use, disposal, and noise. Whilst we expect a focus on shale gas and tight oil and gas, sessions will also cover unconventional hydrocarbons.
