Moving forward, Giving Back

Moving Forward, Giving Back, the SPE Foundation's fundraising effort, seeks support for vital SPE Programs serving this and future generations. Serving our members requires a renewed level of commitment from all who care about the industry and the future.

We welcome all gifts in support of the SPE Foundation. Special recognition and benefits will be accorded to donors in the following categories. Undesignated gifts will go to the Foundation Permanent Fund to support vital SPE programs.

Donors of $1,000 or more may designate their gift to one of the following special areas:

  • Distinguished Lecturer Program

  • Archie Memorial Scholarship
  • van Wingen Memorial Graduate Fellowship
  • Student Programs

Omega Association

The Omega Association was established in 1999 to recognize those who have made provisions for a planned gift or contributed USD 10,000 or more to the Society of Petroleum Engineers, through the SPE Foundation.

The Omega Association makes it possible for the Society to say "thank you" to members for their generosity and is designed to recognize extraordinary commitment of financial resources to assist with the future success.

  • Omega Association - USD 10,000 or more in current gifts or pledged over a 5-year period
  • Omega Association Legacy - USD 10,000 or more as a planned gift
