3D Seismic

seismic data capable of showing a three dimensional image of the reservoir. Strictly, 3-D is a closely spaced grid of 2-D seismic lines with interpolation to create a seismic cube. The cube can be sliced vertically to create 2-D lines or sliced horizontally to create time views of the traveling signal.
