Programmer Analyst - PHP/MediaWiki

This position will be responsible for developing, integrating, and supporting SPE’s PetroWiki.  This will include configuration, administration, and development of MediaWiki as well as other PHP based applications.

The PHP/MediaWiki developer will work closely with the business and/or IT team to define and implement solutions according to business strategies and goals.   This position will also work closely with the Web Services team members and user groups to provide requirements analysis, design solutions, coding & testing services for integrated solutions.  

The person will be responsible for working in accordance with the project timeline and budget as defined by the Project Manager and/or Senior Manager.

The PHP/MediaWiki developer will lead the technical direction for the organization’s on-going and future projects related to SPE’s PetroWiki as well as other applications that require PHP.  Deliverables for the PHP/MediaWiki developer will include thorough technical design documents for all related projects. 

The PHP/MediaWiki developer will be responsible for troubleshooting production issues for current and future projects and/or implementations for PHP based applications such as the PetroWiki and other similar applications.

We are looking for a quick learner strongly oriented in a PHP/Microsoft IIS environment for clients and servers. The successful candidate must have significant experience in building cross-browser, consumer-oriented websites, and/or other applications such as wikis.

SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with PHP and other related web technologies
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience with SQL Server and IIS database and server technologies
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Oracle, SQL Server, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML/XML, and/or CSS
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimum supervision. 
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems with creative solutions
  • Ability to work independently and with various technical and non-technical entities
  • Experience in the leadership and design of complex systems
  • Highest level technical knowledge of all phases of application systems and analysis and programming
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to lead discussions with clients and internal teams

Safety & Wellness Manager

Summary:  This position is responsible for the continuous development of SPE’s global safety policies, procedures, safety assessments and programs as well as the effective implementation of these policies.    Responsible for developing a wellness program (s) that meets both organizational objectives and the needs of a changing workforce.

Essential Responsibilities

 SAFETY

  • Create an organized global safety program, including structure, communication and training strategy to protect  the safety of staff and injury-free workplace
  • Plan and coordinates safety trainings to staff
  • Maintain records of incidents and produce reports that recommend prevention programs and procedures
  • Provide recommendation on incident investigations
  • Create and distribute staff newsletters and bulletins
  • Follows up on injuries, conditions and incidents that do, or could involve actual or potential liability
  • Ensure job descriptions meet OSHA standards
  • Team Leader of global Safety Team to support the compliance of safety policies and guidelines
  • Administer safety incentive programs
  • Responsible for management and monitoring the ISOS and Travel Tracker including staff training and communication
  • Responsible for identifying ergonomic recommendations
  • Responsible for conducting safety assessments at SPE and SPE related events
  • Present on injury trends, assessment results, incident investigations, safety team activity and areas of concern
  • Identify improvement opportunities aimed at incident prevention

 WELLNESS

  •  Administers and evaluates wellness initiatives for company staff
  • Identifies and presents ideas for health promotion and development 
  • Responsible for the fiscal operation, program development and participant retention to employee heath and service
  • Provide recommendations for company-wide programs and / or activities to promote healthy habits and behaviors for employees
  • Actively promote a wellness culture
  • Provide reports and analysis of programs with recommendations for improvements
  • Identify and measure ROI
