Reinstate Your Professional Membership

Thank you for coming back to SPE and our global network of 110,000-plus E&P professionals.

If you were previously a member of SPE, we have two options for reinstating your membership.

Option 1

Reinstate your membership and retain your original join date.

This option allows you to pay outstanding back dues and keep your original join date. Your reinstated account will not reflect a lapse in membership. View the benefits.

Option 2

Reinstate your membership and receive a new join date.

You will only be responsible for paying the current year’s dues, and the date you reinstate your membership will be considered your join date.


Please note

  • A reinstatement fee applies to both reinstatement options.
  • The SPE membership year is 1 January though 31 December. Members who choose Option 2 and join after 1 September pay for the following calendar year and receive the remaining months of the current year at no additional cost.
