Those joining SPE between 1 September and 31 December pay the full annual dues for the next year and receive membership for the remaining months of the current year at no additional cost. Membership will be valid until 31 December for the next year. For applications received by SPE between April and August, dues are prorated and only the prorated amount will be charged. To determine the dues you would pay to join SPE mid-year, find the full year dues you would owe in the table above, then determine the prorated dues based on your month of payment.

SPE membership dues and fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Under certain circumstances, SPE offers a dues waiver for members facing disability, unemployment, or compulsory post-graduation military or social service.

Please note: USD $18 of your dues is allocated to your subscription to Journal of Petroleum Technology and is non-deductible.
